Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this K-Source Replacement Side View Mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 2012 through 2017 Buick Verana. This is going to be modeled after the Buick's original look and fit. So, you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror, should look like it came with your Buick right from the factory, so you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look, it should all be very integrated for you.

You can see, this back cover here does come disassembled, so that you can paint that to match your vehicle's color. Once you get it put in place, it is going to be a nice, secure fit. So, that's the reason I'm not going to do that right now. Just for display purposes, I'll leave it here, loosely assembled. This is going to have the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror, because it is modeled after that original.

So, very simple to get this bolted on. The wiring is gonna plug right into your existing electrical wiring. So, very simple to get this installed. You're not gonna have to worry about drilling any new holes, or anything like that. And just for your reassurance, for those of you who do need a little bit more confidence that this is gonna work for you, you can see that original equipment number on the screen there.

This is going to replace that. So, if you see that number in your owner's manual, or on the original mirror as you're removing that, you can trust that this is gonna fit right in place for you, and gonna do a great job. Now, this does have the power remote capability, you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls that are inside your vehicle. Keep in mind, that's only gonna work if your vehicle is already equipped with that, and it's not gonna add that functionality to a vehicle that doesn't already have it. And this does not have the blind spot detection on it.

It's not gonna support that. So, if your original did, you're gonna have a little bit fewer features with this, but it's still gonna look really good for you. It's gonna do a great job. It does have an OE Grade quality to it, so same kind of quality materials as your original. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so it's gonna give you a nice, clear image. It is a convex lens like most passenger side mirrors, so it's gonna give you a nice wide angle view to help reduce those blind spots. And also has a breakaway design, so the mirror will fold in on itself if you we're to run into the side of your garage, or a parking post, or something like that. It's gonna help to absorb some of that impact, and reduce the chance of it being damaged. But it is a very durable plastic housing with this black finished.
